Today, I watched the DVD “Condor Heroes” in the afternoon. Then, our family and 2 yi yi went to Orchard Road to have our dinner. We ate the Thai food which was quite nice. After that, we went to shop around there. I realized that not many people go there because in the past, we usually need to queue up at the restaurant before it was our turn. Perhaps it is due to the economic crisis bah. |

This week, 2 of my yi yi went to Singapore. Lei yi yi came on Wednesday and Yong yi yi came today. I have realized that many relatives came to Singapore for this year. It is good to have relatives coming because my family has not been able to go back to Brunei. One reason is that we simply do not have the time but the main reason because of the financial problems. As for my grandma, our relatives might consider sending her to the nursing home. It was because the doctor said that even if my grandma recovers, her legs might not be able to walk again. As for my work, this Thursday, I went to BCA to retrieve information. Recently, many colleagues told me that they do not want to work anymore. So I am somehow being affected by them. Yesterday, I went out with my two colleagues after work. We went to IMM. This was the first time I went there. We went there for window shopping and my colleague treated me 1 cup of strawberry ice cream. After walking there for a while, we went home. Today, I had wanted to withdraw money from ATM but the machine spoiled. This month, I had overspent my budget and I had no money anymore. But luckily, there were still other machines. I went for haircut and after that, I went to play table tennis with cousin. It happened that there were 3 China guys who joined us for the game. |

Last Sunday, my whole family went to hospital to visit my grandma. She was sleeping throughout the time we stayed at there. And she had no appetite to eat. After staying there for a while, we took bus to the IT Fair. The place was crowded with so many people and we need to squeeze through the crowd. Come to think of it, it is funny. Though the economic is not good, there are still many people come there. Anyway, we went there to help my cousin to buy a laptop but in the end, we did not buy because the laptop he wanted has sold finished. After that, we went to have our lunch and my mother said that she wanted to go to OG. At that time, I somehow felt a little bit unwell so I told them I wanted to go home by myself. So we went to MRT station. To my surprise, the way to the MRT was blocked because there were too many people. So we had to find another way to get to the MRT station but after trying so many ways before we finally reached the MRT station. This is the first time I encounter this situation. As for this week, I was quite feeling unwell throughout the week. I was like no mood and energy to work. And I went to see doctor on Wednesday and I took leave on Thursday. I think mostly because of the work and the stress that had been put on me, I cannot take it and finally, I got sick. |

Nowadays, in my work, I am getting less enthusiasm and like so sian. It is because I always get scolding from Serene whenever I do my work. I think that I have really tried hard to do the best in everything I do, but there is always something she will pick on. Not that she don’t like me or what, I think she wanted me to check in everything that I have done. Just like she always tells us, their customers are their rice bowl, so they had to make sure everything they do are accurate. Sometimes, I feel that I am not suitable to do the work because I don’t like to mix with people. As a result, I always do thing on my own and do not tell my colleagues or Serene about the problems that I have encountered. Although I get along with my colleagues well, I can’t seem to tell them where I stop my work or what they should. I feel like quitting my work but cannot because of my condition, it is hard to find job. Some more, now got the economic crisis. I think I will need to continue to work until one day, I cannot tolerate, perhaps that time, I will quit bah. |

Las Thursday, one of my Brunei cousins went to Singapore and stayed with us. We always called him Baby kor kor. We have not really met each other for more than ten year except last time when we went back to Brunei and went to his house for a while. He is now doing IT job and this time, his company sent him to Singapore to study for just a few days. Then last Sunday, I accompanied him to Sim Lim Square because he wanted to know how much the PSP costs in Singapore. Then we ate our lunch nearby there and we went to Novena to buy his ticket home. Also on Sunday, Yong Yi Yi and San San came to Singapore. They came here to do their passport documents because San San will be going to Canada for further studies. He had wanted to come to Singapore to study but because the registration for poly has already ended and he needs to wait for another year, so he had no choice but to go to Canada. |

For this week, there have been several events happening. First, it was my grandma. On Monday, I heard that she accidentally fell down in the house. She was sent to hospital immediately and the doctor said that my grandma has broken the legs bones. And she was sent to ICU room. I have not really gone to visit her until yesterday. She could not eat any food but have to rely on the tube machine to give her energy. Second, Uncle Ong, one of my colleagues was also admitted to hospital. The doctor discovered that there was something inside his liver and had to undergo operation. My colleagues and I went to the hospital yesterday to visit him. He told us that he already had his operation the day before and he is fine now. He told us that he would be able to discharge on the coming Wednesday. Third, there was a new colleague coming to work as the filming operator. I don’t really know her name as I have never actually talked to her. One of her hands is like bend backwards and she had to depend on only the other hand to do the work. I was quite impressed by her determination despite her condition. Hope that my grandma will be recover soon and Uncle Ong will be able to come to work soon. |
