Today, one of my best friend, Ying Qing and I went to the graduation fever party. At first, I did not want to go as I hate mixing around with people and attending such a party. But I told myself that this would be the last time in RP and I need to get used to this kind of activity and so I went. So we met at the show beside the woodlands mrt first and we walked to RP. As we walked to the RP, we did not know why that there were practically no people. At that time, I thought that there would be little people going there. As YQ was waiting for his friends to come, we sat at one corner and we play the DS game. When his friends came, we went to the party. When we reached the party, I found out that the theme for the party is retro and I happened to wear a fashion kind of shirt. There were people wearing a fake hair like that kind of hair when it was exploded. So YQ chatted with his friends and I simply followed him. I also saw some of my friends and said hi to them. There were people helping students to take photo and for makeup and help to draw their faces. So we took photo together. As the time was getting later, many people came and mixed around with each other. Then we went to take some food and soon the party started. We went inside the room and the place was like a disco that it was so loud and dark. There were dancers dancing on the stage and then the host asked whether if there was any talented student who wanted to perform. And so, one girl was asked to come to the stage to do dance pole. Then the host selected the five best costumes for ladies and guys and asking them to be on stage. And the guys and ladies had to answer the questions that the host was asking. Also they were asked to do a cat walk on the stage. After that, the judges chose one lady and one guy to be the winner. And soon, the lucky draw began. There were altogether 25 prizes in the first round. And I happened to won the 9th prize which is the DVD player and I asked YQ to get the prize on my behalf on the stage. I was so happy that despite having to spend a $10 entrance ticket, I get to gain more than I thought. When the first round ended, there comes the second round which is deal or not deal. It was like in those 25 winners, the host would draw one more time and asked them if they wanted to change the things in the unknown boxes or if they still wanted to retain. Soon the party came to end. And I collected the DVD player. And I took some photos with my friends. Then I went home alone because YQ need to go to the chalet with his friends. BYE RP!!! |

This Tuesday, I received a call from my cousin that her company, HP Pte Ltd was looking for a temp store assistant and was asking me whether if I wanted. So I said ok lor and sent the resume to her. Not for while, the company asked me to go down for an interview. When I reached there, I realized that I did not which floor to go to. So I was nervous and called back to the person but I simply could not get through. As it was almost time for the interview, I sms my cousin whether she knew where. So she looked for me and asked her colleague for the person. And we went up to find the person and the person asked me to fill up the form first. Then she interviewed me and said that there were still many people applying for the job. Hope that she would quickly called me back. But I guess it would be a little possibility that I would get a job with so many people. |

This wednesday was the graduation ceremony for the 3rd batch of RP students. My family and I woke up very early, about 6 am. I was not used to waking up early as I always wake up at about 10.30 am nowadays. I practically have no enough sleep for the past two days because my mind was filled up with graduation ceremony. And so we went to the school and I thought that we might be very early to reach. But when we reached there, there were many students with their parents waiting outside the TRCC. Some were waiting for their friends and their parents. So we went in and registered first. My parents and I were told to go into separate way and so I took the graduation attire with me. Then I put on the graduation attire. As I did not know why the attire looked a bit weird after putting on, I tried to see whether if there was someone whom I know. But I did not dare to ask them and so one lady came forward to help me. After putting on the attire, I went to wait outside the theater and saw some of my friends. But I did not really talk with them, just said hi to them, i felt like suddenly they were so unfamiliar to me. Then we were to queue up according to the number, and soon we went to take a seat one by one. I never knew that there would be many SIT students in RP. In front of the students, there are parents and the school staffs sitting on different side. Before the ceremony started, everyone stood up and welcomed the guest of honour, Mr Khaw Boon Wan. Soon the ceremony started, we watched a little short video. Then the principal made the speech and followed by the chairman to specially reward those students who are outstanding in their studies. After that, the first row of the students was told to go to the back stage, waiting to receive the diploma. I was so scared as I was the second person to receive the diploma. Soon the chairman of my diploma announced my name, and I went to receive the diploma from the guest of honour and then took a photo. Soon one by one went to the stage to receive the diploma. After giving out all the diplomas, one particular student made a speech on how she went through the life in RP. Soon, the ceremony ends and we were told to make our way to the reception for buffet. and so I took photos with my family and one friend. I did not know what was wrong with me that moment, that I suddenly felt like not mood to find my friends for photo taking and was rushing home. Then we went home.

Yesterday, I had wanted to go to JJ’s autograph session with Daniel. But I did not know that yesterday was the day because I thought that it would be today. So we missed out going to see JJ. But never mind, there are still many chances to see JJ in future. He and Jin Sha’s ‘qi dai ai’ is a super nice song. Recently, my brother and I watched the Korean show ‘Huang Zhen Yi’. It was quite a sad show as it is about the life of how a girl became a ‘yi ji’ which is much like a prostitute. And it shows how she began to become a top prostitute in Korea. Just now, in the morning, I went to my grandma’s house and played the Chinese chess with my cousin. Then I wanted to check my weight to see whether I became heavier. Indeed, I am heavier by 2 kg and now became 52 kg. I guess that I must start to go exercise on weekend le. Just now, I watched the S-Pop show and many local and overseas singers attended the show. As I listened to the songs that they were singing, I felt like I am immersed in the music. Although I have never heard some songs before, they were so nice. Particularly, I liked the scene when Chen Wei Lian and Shi Xin Hui sang the songs together. I feel that this show is too exciting as I get to know the singers more in depth, whether it is from 80’s, 90’s or even now. I hope that there will be more shows like this in future. |

Although I am staying at home and it is boring, sometimes it can be quite fun. Especially when I see my two nephews are growing up and they will chase each other around the house or making funny faces, I will laugh and seeing them sometimes will make me feel cheered up. Of course, I love to play with them and occasionally, I will disturb them. Recently, I finished watching one Taiwan idol show ‘It started with a kiss’. It was very funny and the characters in the show are so funny and lively. Last week, my brother introduced me to play a DS game that is called ‘Professor Layton and the curious village’. It is fun and inside the game, there are many puzzles for me to solve. Although the game is for kids to play, it can make my mind go crazy over some puzzles and they were tough and interesting. One of the puzzles is this: “_ is 1000 times _ _” To turn this strange message into a proper sentence, all you need to do is to fill in the _ with a single letter of the alphabet. But what letter could it be? You’ll need to use the same letter for all three _s. Feel free to attempt this puzzle and write your answer on the chat box. |

This week has been a boring week for me. I hate to see me like this, staying at home almost every day, like there is no goal for me to work towards. Nowadays, I wake up late, watch tv, playing DS, listen to radio, playing with my two little nephews and go online to watch Taiwan idol show. If this continues, I will soon become a lazy and fat pig. Haha!!! Haix…there is still no news from the JMC, about 2 weeks le. Guess that there goes my chance le. I have been looking out for jobs through the newspapers and going online to find jobs. I also sent out many resumes that I think the jobs are suitable for me. To be honest, I think that there are little jobs for me to choose and to work as. It was because I looked through the newspaper and internet, most of the jobs are those require good communications skills like admin or sales. For IT jobs, first I don’t have much knowledge on those IT, and the most important reason is that I don’t like anything that is do with IT stuff. If last time, my O’ level had been better, I would like to enter the accounting or business course. It is because I like to do anything that has to do with figures. But too bad, I cannot turn back the clock. |

Happy birthday to Gavin!!! Today, it is my little nephew, Gavin’s birthday. My family and my aunt took my cousin’s car to Gavin’s house to celebrate his two years old birthday. When we reached there, we ate the buffet. As time went by, my cousin’s friends began to come and the place was filled with laughter. There were many kids playing around with each other. Soon, it was time to celebrate Gavin’s birthday. And we sang the birthday songs and ate the cake.

Today, I received a call from the JMC in the morning, telling me to go down for an interview. As I know that they are just like the previous companies that I go to, like the agent, who helps people to find job, I dared not have a high hope that this time will get a guarantee job. So I went down to the company and was told to fill up the resume. Then, a lady attended to me and looked through my particulars. As she told me that I had little working experience plus my condition, she recommended me a temporary printer tester job first which would build up my confidence and at the same time, I would gain a working experience. So I agreed and she said that she would try her best to get the job for me. In the meantime, she would help me to look for a suitable job if there is any. Hope that there would be good news coming. |

Haix...so sian…still staying at home everyday. Today, I specially went out early to RP to buy the graduation attire and collect the invitation cards. I was also helping my friend to buy as he went overseas with the wushu group. It was because I was probably too scared and nervous to buy the things myself as to avoid the crowd. Luckily it was a rainy day and I guessed that there won’t be so many people queuing up to buy the attire. Guess that you guys will not believe that this is the first time I am using the nets to pay for the things. I also saw some familiar faces in RP as I was walking through the RP. Then I went home. I also have a haircut today as I need to take the photo in order to make the passport. |
