Haix…I have a feeling that I am going to become sick again. It is because I now keep having running nose and having a sore throat. I guessed it was because I have not been resting enough recently ba.

This week was still a tiring week for me. I also did not know why I was so tired. Every time my friends, my family or cousins ask me why I get easily so tired, I do not know how to answer, I just say that I am tired loh. I think it is because I inherited Hepatitis B from my mother that would make a person feel tired easily.

On Tuesday, I had wanted to visit my grandma at first but because it was raining so I told Jovin that I did not want to go. But later, I decided to go with Jovin and my uncle and we took the shuttle bus to the hospital. My grandma was still the same, not feeling like eating something and would vomit sometimes.

On Friday, I went to the hospital by myself because Jovin had something on. When I reached there, I saw my cousin; Pei Pei jie jie was there. She was having a conversation with a nurse about my grandma’s condition. After a while, my uncle came. Then the nurse told them that if my grandma continued to go hungry, then the nurse would have to force her to take food. But then she really did not feel like eating, then the nurse suggested that maybe she would like to drink milk that would provide her nutrient and energy. Then also, when we were there, my grandma did not feel like to talk and she kept sleeping. I guessed because she was too tired le.

Then my uncle told my cousin and me to go home first because we also had nothing to do. We went to the Anchor Point first because my cousin had to buy something and food. After that, we went to my house because she needed to take my two little “naughty” nephews going home.

Today, I took Roy to cut hair. Then after that, I bought food for my brother and me for lunch. Then I went to my grandma’s house. Roy and I had wanted to watch the Jap movie “L change the world” but after 10 min, the disc somehow cannot proceed on so we went to play as usual.

Recently, there was a new Jap movie “20th century boys” showing on the cinema. The trailer shown like very exciting and like it is worth it to see the movie. I am still thinking whether I should go and watch the movie.

Ok…I now go and watch the hot shot le…haha…

♥ My grandma hospitalisation

On Thursday also, my grandma was admitted to hospital because she was not well. She had no appetite for more than a month and vomited occasionally so my uncle took her to hospital. I had wanted to visit her but I was too tired. After hospitalization, things were looking the same, no appetite.

On Friday, I had wanted to go hospital after I came back from my work because Jovin sms me that she would be going to hospital at about 2. So I waited for the shuttle bus but Jovin said that she had already returned to home. So I went to her house first because I was sure that if I were to going alone to visit my grandma, I sure did not know what to talk to her and how to take care of her. Then I and Jovin’s family went to hospital to visit my grandma. When I saw her, I could see that she aged quite a lot and had to endure all the pain. Some more, she was a little blurred and like did not know what happened.

All these had make think quite a lot, why people need to go through many sufferings and pain. The most important thing is that when people see the patients or their love ones going through all the sufferings or pain, they could not do to ease their sufferings or do anything, they only can give them moral support and show concern.

Also, yesterday, I wanted to go online but my laptop kept cannot connect to internet and I was so frustrated after so many tries.

Yesterday, my brother, mother and I went to visit my grandma. When we reached there, my uncle’s family and Ah Pao Soh were there. My grandma was still looking the same as before. We were there for about 1 hour and we went home. Then I went to my grandma’s house as usual.
Today, as normal, my mother, father and I went to visit grandma first. But this time, my cousin drove us to the hospital. My grandpa were there looking after her when we reached there. My grandma was still the same…no appetite and vomited. Then my uncle’s family went to visit after some time. Then after a while, they left and my brother went to hospital. After that, we went to eat lunch, leaving my grandpa to take care of her. As I was very hungry, my mother bought a curry puff first. Then we went home.

♥ Tiring week
posted by yukiong on Saturday, 18 October 2008 at 9:36 pm.
This week has been so tiring for me. I also do not know what the reason is. I guess because of my work ba. It was because the film machine has created many troubles for me and it was stopping me from doing my work very fast. And I had to make sure all the images are clear and they are in good shapes. But things were not going smoothly for me because many images were either too blurred or too dark, and even worse, was that some of their borders were cut off. So I had to rewind back to the distorted newspaper images to scan a better one and all this had to take me quite a lot of time. So in the end, I was quite frustrated with the machine and myself. I guessed I give myself a lot of pressure le.

Also, my boss and his family will be going overseas for holidays next. Maybe I can start to relax…haha…just joking.

On Tuesday, Jovin and I went to NTUC to buy diapers for my grandma. When I saw Jovin, one of her eyes was swollen and she also did not know what caused the problem. Anyways, take care hor…

On Thursday, my mother went to hospital for check up. So the day before, she had to do all the things that her doctor instructed her to do such as only can eat porridge for the day and drink some medicine. When I went back from home, she was quite tired and had no energy to do things.

This week, there has no exciting event for me and life has been good for me. As for my work, it was as usual. Except that my brother went to his school music camp on Tuesday and has just come back yesterday only. It was so strange that I was not feeling lonely this time at home. Perhaps it was because I was too tired for work and had no time to think about it.

And also, this Friday, my colleagues and I went out to the food court for lunch. This was the first time that so many colleagues had lunch with me because there was one hour break.

For my weekends, I did not go out. As usual, I went for haircut and then went to my grandma’s house yesterday. And today, I went to NTUC with my mother and jogged in the afternoon.

Recently, there was one entertainment show, Life transformer, which was broadcasted this Monday. I find the show was quite touching and make me realized that there are actually so many pitiful people out there which seriously need our help. And the two hosts and the volunteer tried their best to clean up the people’s flat and also bought new things for them and of course, to help the woman find jobs. Hope that the show will really helps those people to overcome their financial difficulties for the long term. Wah…I think I like promoting the show…haha…

Also, I have been watching the Taiwan idol show, Hot shot, online. It was really funny and make me wanted to play basketball.

♥ Life can be so happy

I always have one question in my mind. Why people seldom satisfy with the things they have? Especially, in Singapore, people almost complain everything. Actually, life can be simple and I wish that I can do it also.

Like for example, in the third world countries, people are satisfied if they were given some food to eat everyday and they will be happy.

Or maybe we can do some good deeds like helping those people with low self-esteem to regain their confidence in life. We can help to donate some necessities like food and old furniture to the poor people and even books to those kids. Also, we can try to help those people with illness or disabilities to find a job. But most importantly, is to let these people know that there are actually people out there caring for them so that they will feel the warmth.

Actually, I thought of helping out in those old folk homes, doing some community work in the past. But I scared that I am not up to the tasks that are being given to me. Haha…

♥ Went Alexandra Canal Linear Park

Wah…another week has passed…need to start work tomorrow.

As for today, my mother and I went to IKEA to shop. It was raining and we had to take umbrella and I nearly fell down a couple of times because the floor was quite slippery. After that, we went home. At about 5, I went for jogging. But as I walking along the stadium, it seemed that there was an event going on. So I thought about going to the place where Kelvin told me that he went there for jogging. As I was walking there, I saw Kelvin and his father also went there. So I followed them secretly and saw them going to a part. The funny part was that I pretended to walk the opposite direction because I dared not to go up to say hi to them. Then when I was thinking of going home, I saw Kelvin wave hands to me and so I pretended that I accidentally saw them and joined them for jogging.

The place is called Alexandra Canal Linear Park in which I had never heard before. So I asked them to run first while I later then run. We ran quite far because Kelvin said that they would normally run to the place near Great wall there and then ran back. Of course, I did not run to the Great wall there because my stamina was not good. But at least, I ran from Queenstown NTUC to about Redhill there. This was the first time I ran so far and this was a new experience for me. And there were quite a number of people jogging there. After running to the Redhill there, I walked back and occasionally jog back to find Kelvin. They were doing the exercising as there were quite a few exercising equipments like raising the arms, exercised the legs and train your waists. And of course, I tried them all and it was quite tiring after that. Then we went home.

Overall, I think that the place was quite nice and I hope to go there and jog. But it would be boring and a little bit scared jogging alone. Next time, I must try to psycho someone to go there with me to jog. HaHa…

♥ Watching King Kong
posted by yukiong on at 11:50 pm.
Yesterday, my mother did not want to go out so I stayed at home watching the movie “King Kong”. At first, I thought that the whole movie would have the King Kong appeared for most of the time. Then I realized that it was only appearing at the later part of the movie. The movie was quite thrilling and mysterious as you will never know what was going for the next moment.

What made me surprised about the movie was that there were many extinct creatures appearing in the movie like dinosaurs and those animals that made me feel the creeps. And of course, the most warming part was the King Kong who went all out to protect a woman which it loves from those creatures. And finally, the King Kong died because of protecting his love ones and it was killed by the police. Overall, I think that the movie was quite touching and exciting.

After that, I went to my grandma’s house to play with my cousin. And it seemed that my grandma was still feeling a little bit unwell and I did not know how to help her. Then, I went to play table-tennis with my cousin. He was quite good at playing the table-tennis and I did not know how to counter his attack. I guess that I must try to work on it and play well.

♥ My first Salary
posted by yukiong on Thursday, 2 October 2008 at 12:14 am.
This week has been going fast for me because I finally got one holiday since I started working last month. It was still the same for me to go to work.

Yesterday, one of my colleagues, Aunt Dolly, told us that there was someone committing suicide across her houses. I was so shocked and she still told us that her brother actually went down to see the body. Oh my gosh! Also, yesterday, I finally received my first salary. When the boss gave me the cheque, he told me that he raised my salary by $50 because of my well performance. And he said that all my colleagues were paid less than my salary and told me that this job was a stepping stone for me. I was quite happy then because I got $600. But when I went back home and took a look at my cheque, actually I only got $400++ because the other sum of money went to the cpf. Although I was upset after knowing that I only able to spend such a little sum of money, I was sure that if I do not continue to do this job, then there is only one way out. That is to find another job or die…either way. After sharing this thought with my mother and Jovin, I decided not to care about the pay first and continue to do well in this job.

Today, as it was Hari Raya for Malays, I have one day off and my mother does not need to look after my nephews. So my mother and I went to Somerset for shopping. It was so crowded when we wanted to board the Mrt and we had to wait for another train. And we squeezed into the train and I hardly had any space to move around. Both of us have not been to Somerset for so long that we went to the wrong place at first. Then we went to the Robinsons and walked around. The things there was really so expensive that I think only those high class people can afford to buy the stuff there. My mother wanted to ask me to buy a new leather shoe but we did not know how to choose. And some more the price for the shoe is about half of my salary. Then I also bought two T-shirts with my own money. Then we went home after walking for a while.
