Wow…this week has really been a mentally tired for me because I will be taking over Aunt Dolly’s duties next month. As she would be leaving, so Aunt Dolly needs to teach me all the things within the remaining week. At first, I was quite shocked when the boss’s daughter told me the news on Wednesday and I was told not to leak out the news to others yet. So these few days, Aunt Dolly taught me on how to do different calculations for different newspapers like English, Chinese, Malay and Tamil. To be exact, it covers all Singapore newspapers. Of course, I am still unsure of the calculations now. After that, she taught me where to take the newspapers, prepare different types of labels and to take note of things like public holiday or weekend. Most importantly, I need to coordinate all my colleagues’ work which is quite stressful. Then also, she taught me on the BCA like J series and SC series. And next, it is the scanning the images of KK’s hospital like what I normally do for my work. Between, the boss’s daughter asked me to check the images for the BCA. Not to forget, I was to go down to BCA to transfer images to hard disk every week. And also, do my favourite accounting. All these work has made me feel so wore out and stressed and I guessed that I must try to learn finish all the things before Aunt is leaving. I wish that the one who is taking over her duties is not me. Haha…don’t know if this was called promoting or not. Most important…if my salary would be increased. |
