This week is a horrible and mentally tired for me. It was because I was sick…coughing and sneezing a lot…almost used up more than a roll of toilet paper…my nose became red. Some more, I still need to go to work because I did not want to take leave…actually I seriously do not know whether there was any medical leave to be taken…haha. I also do not like to take medicine if I were to go to work or outside because whenever I take the medicine, perhaps the effects are too strong for me that I do not have strength to do things and my hands will shake more often. I seriously do not like the sick side of me and that makes me feel even more scared of getting sick in the future…think it would be even worse than now when my parents would not be around and I need to take care of myself. On Monday, it was Deepavali’s day so I did not need to work and at the same time, I can rest. I watched the Jap movie “10 promises to the dog” with my brother and my mother at home (actually my brother watched it before and my mother occasionally watched a bit only.) The movie was quite touching and meaningful because before the mother was going to die, she told her daughter to fulfill the 10 promises to the dog no matter what happens. But as the girl grew up, she began to drift apart from the dog and ignored the dog. In the end, when the dog was going to die, the girl started to realize that it was too late and regret that she did not fulfill the promises and so the dog died in the end. As for my ah ma, I have not really gone to see her for 4 days because I simply had not the mood to see her because I was sick…do not know if this is consider unfilial or not. I heard from Jovin that she was still the same…not really eating much and keep vomiting saliva. I think it is her physiological problem bah because she kept thinking of vomiting whenever she sees food or drinks. And yesterday, it was even worse. I met my uncle in the mrt station and we went to the hospital. When we reached there, my third uncle, aunt and Jovin were there. I did not really know what happened, just curious why so many were there suddenly and heard them keep persuading ah ma not to think negatively and quickly eat food so as to recover faster. Then later, Jovin asked me to go outside and tell me that just now, ah ma was actually trying to end her own life by biting her own tongue and there was blood flowing. Luckily, Jovin discovered and quickly stopped it and called my uncle and my aunt to go there. When I heard about it, I was so shocked. I guessed that she perhaps cannot endure the pain that she need to take, but most importantly, is that she was too lonely and she did not want to trouble us so she chose to take this path. So Jia you, ah ma!!! We always behind u and support u!!! After that, my third uncle, aunt and I went home. My uncle had wanted to drive us home but Yong Zhen gor gor told my aunt that he will be driving us home so we took his car home. As for my work, my boss and his family were back on Thursday. Argh!!! We were so relaxed for the past few days and now, we need to buck up…haha. They bought us some local food from Shen Zhen and a magnetic clip. I thought they were going to America only, but they also went to Shen Zhen. The food was quite yummmmy!!! |
