Today, one of my best friend, Ying Qing and I went to the graduation fever party. At first, I did not want to go as I hate mixing around with people and attending such a party. But I told myself that this would be the last time in RP and I need to get used to this kind of activity and so I went. So we met at the show beside the woodlands mrt first and we walked to RP. As we walked to the RP, we did not know why that there were practically no people. At that time, I thought that there would be little people going there. As YQ was waiting for his friends to come, we sat at one corner and we play the DS game. When his friends came, we went to the party. When we reached the party, I found out that the theme for the party is retro and I happened to wear a fashion kind of shirt. There were people wearing a fake hair like that kind of hair when it was exploded. So YQ chatted with his friends and I simply followed him. I also saw some of my friends and said hi to them. There were people helping students to take photo and for makeup and help to draw their faces. So we took photo together. As the time was getting later, many people came and mixed around with each other. Then we went to take some food and soon the party started. We went inside the room and the place was like a disco that it was so loud and dark. There were dancers dancing on the stage and then the host asked whether if there was any talented student who wanted to perform. And so, one girl was asked to come to the stage to do dance pole. Then the host selected the five best costumes for ladies and guys and asking them to be on stage. And the guys and ladies had to answer the questions that the host was asking. Also they were asked to do a cat walk on the stage. After that, the judges chose one lady and one guy to be the winner. And soon, the lucky draw began. There were altogether 25 prizes in the first round. And I happened to won the 9th prize which is the DVD player and I asked YQ to get the prize on my behalf on the stage. I was so happy that despite having to spend a $10 entrance ticket, I get to gain more than I thought. When the first round ended, there comes the second round which is deal or not deal. It was like in those 25 winners, the host would draw one more time and asked them if they wanted to change the things in the unknown boxes or if they still wanted to retain. Soon the party came to end. And I collected the DVD player. And I took some photos with my friends. Then I went home alone because YQ need to go to the chalet with his friends. BYE RP!!! |
