This wednesday was the graduation ceremony for the 3rd batch of RP students. My family and I woke up very early, about 6 am. I was not used to waking up early as I always wake up at about 10.30 am nowadays. I practically have no enough sleep for the past two days because my mind was filled up with graduation ceremony. And so we went to the school and I thought that we might be very early to reach. But when we reached there, there were many students with their parents waiting outside the TRCC. Some were waiting for their friends and their parents. So we went in and registered first. My parents and I were told to go into separate way and so I took the graduation attire with me. Then I put on the graduation attire. As I did not know why the attire looked a bit weird after putting on, I tried to see whether if there was someone whom I know. But I did not dare to ask them and so one lady came forward to help me. After putting on the attire, I went to wait outside the theater and saw some of my friends. But I did not really talk with them, just said hi to them, i felt like suddenly they were so unfamiliar to me. Then we were to queue up according to the number, and soon we went to take a seat one by one. I never knew that there would be many SIT students in RP. In front of the students, there are parents and the school staffs sitting on different side. Before the ceremony started, everyone stood up and welcomed the guest of honour, Mr Khaw Boon Wan. Soon the ceremony started, we watched a little short video. Then the principal made the speech and followed by the chairman to specially reward those students who are outstanding in their studies. After that, the first row of the students was told to go to the back stage, waiting to receive the diploma. I was so scared as I was the second person to receive the diploma. Soon the chairman of my diploma announced my name, and I went to receive the diploma from the guest of honour and then took a photo. Soon one by one went to the stage to receive the diploma. After giving out all the diplomas, one particular student made a speech on how she went through the life in RP. Soon, the ceremony ends and we were told to make our way to the reception for buffet. and so I took photos with my family and one friend. I did not know what was wrong with me that moment, that I suddenly felt like not mood to find my friends for photo taking and was rushing home. Then we went home.
