Today, I went to Chinatown with my parents. I have not been going out with my father for almost 1 month le. I feel happy and excited going out with my parents as I like to spend time with them and at the same time, I can go shopping.
We went to Outram Park to buy decorations for the coming Chinese New Year and there are many decorations placed in the stalls. As this year is the mouse year, there are many mouse decorations like the Mickey Mouse. They are so cute…I feel like buying back to put it on my room. At the Outram Park there, there are already got decorations putting up between the road and I feel that they are normal unlike in the past, the decorations were so nice.

Then we went to eat the porridge at the stall. This is the first time I went there to eat the porridge and it was marvelous. Long time…never eat such a delectable porridge…the last time…I ate such porridge…was the porridge from Brunei when I was about 6 or 7. Since then, I have never eaten such porridge. Next time, if you guys want to eat porridge, remember to go to Outram Park there. We waited quite a long time as there were many people queuing up to buy. My mother said that everyday, the stall operates from the morning to the evening and it is famous for porridge. Think that they must be making quite a lot of money…haha…I wish I can be like them…making money. Then we went to the Chinatown. I have not been there for quite a long time…at least 6 to 7 years. Every time I go to the Chinatown, I usually go to one side of the Chinatown and the other sides, I seldom go. At there, the place was quite crowded and there were many stalls putting up the Chinese New Year decorations at their stalls. And I could hear New Year songs everywhere as if the people are celebrating CNY now. We also saw one American man selling CNY stuffs in which we have seen him before in tv. He was happy and excited, wearing the qi pao, singing and dancing while selling the stuff. We also took some photos there and soon my parents finished buying the decorations and we went home. That’s all. |
