Happy merry Christmas day!!! Haix so sian and tired…woke up early…as I need to go to school to reformat my laptop…but the staff said that they will close early and have to wait until Wednesday. Have not been touching FYP these few day…not feeling too happy or excited over the Christmas day as nobody goes out with me today. Feel very bored now…so sad…feel that I have really few friends. Although every time I say that I have many friends, actually whenever I want to find real friends to chat with me, there is very few, perhaps you can say that I have no friends. Want to find somebody to go out with me or chat with me…also difficult. Perhaps I am destined to be alone throughout my life. Last week, Daniel and I worked together as a taxi surveyor from Wednesday to Sunday. You guys must be wondering what kind of job is it, right? It just counting the number of passengers queuing up in the taxi stand…when the people start queuing up…what is the time that people got into the taxi…and the waiting time each people is able to get a taxi. Easy? Somehow I feel it is an easy job…just sitting there…counting only but it can be stressed such that I need to open my eyes and stare closely into the people queuing up in the taxi stand for 6 hours. But it is worth it as I will be able to earn $210. So we sat outside the NTUC so that we can see the people queuing up. but it can be weird as we sat there for 6 hours, and every time people see us, their looks looked so confused, they must be thinking that we are ‘siao ah’, sitting there for so long. Even when the NTUC closed for the day, we still sat there. Some of them even asked us why we sitting there for so long and what are we doing. We also made friends with some people there. I was quite smart indeed…chose the right location…where there was no many people taking taxi there. And when it comes to about 9, there is hardly people taking taxi anymore. Although Daniel and I have not met for so long, we are able to chat and laugh a lot as though we are very close friend. We also took turn to do the survey and we started to slack on the second day like I brought my gameboy to play and we played different games and listening to radio while we were working. Although we played, we took our work seriously. We sometimes also sing and it was fun.  Soon, five days have flown. I am going to miss this wonderful working experience with him and although it can be quite hard and tired, we actually have so much fun and at the same time, we can earn money. I hope that there will be another taxi surveyor job soon so that I will earn more money. Also, I am sad that Jovin and Roy cannot go k-box with me. I told them I would be treating them to k-box but they still said cannot. Either they said that no money or no time… It is hard to see that I would treat people whether it is eating or playing because I have a very little money one. People sometimes would always ask me why I often eat bread for lunch in school, but I do not mind as my family’s condition is also not well off. Ok…hope that my FYP will progress slowly and finish them in 21 days. |
